About me

I am a fourth year PhD student at Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, UCL under the supervision of Aapo Hyvärinen. Before the PhD, I completed an engineering degree at École polytechnique with a focus on applied mathematics. I also obtained a masters degree in Computer vision and Machine learning (MVA).
I organize Gatsby’s Machine Learning journal club, and co-organize the DeepMind/ELLIS CSML Seminar Series at UCL.
For further details, please see my CV.

Research interest

My research focuses on unsupervised learning, mainly identifiability, nonlinear ICA, disentangled representations and density estimation. I also have an interest in causality, neuroscience (particularly applying machine learning models on neuroimaging data), statistical physics and differential geometry.
